This poster was created around 1960 by Peter Boyle (1903-1967) for American Airlines.

The poster is an homage to California—north and south. You'll spot the Hollywood Bowl, movie lighting, sail boats, the Golden Gate bridge and happy people. 72 and sunny, as it were.

Boyle was a cartoonist for the Evening Bulletin in Philadelphia. He attended the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts. Ours is an original vintage poster; it is not a reproduction. This poster is conservation mounted, linen backed, and in excellent condition.

The poster is 30" x 40" and presently unframed.
